People move to Beaumont because they want to remain socially, mentally and physically engaged – and residents get every opportunity. Beaumont is the only Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) in the nation that is cooperatively owned and governed by residents. As a result, they are directly involved in charting a holistic approach to wellness, connecting the Health Center with continuing education, event programming, dining and nutrition, and of course fitness.
Beaumont kicked off the 2016-2017 Beaumont Speaker Series with a special brunch event for residents and the general public, followed by a timely overview and analysis of the 2016 election cycle by veteran political commentator Jeff Greenfield on Saturday October 1, 2016
The Philadelphia Inquirer, Daily News and Philly.com again recognized Beaumont at Bryn Mawr as one ofthe region’s top 100 best places to work during its fourth annual award celebration, held on March 16, 2016.
In partnership with Main Line School Night, Beaumont proudly presents the 2015-2016 Speaker Series. Open to all residents and Future Resident Club members, this exceptional educational program presents notable speakers as well as mini-courses ranging from world events to art history.
The opening speaker was Anne-Marie O'Connor, award-winning journalist and author of The Lady in Gold, the extraordinary story of Gustav Klimt’s masterpiece and inspiration for the movie starring Helen Mirren.

Once again, The Philadelphia Inquirer, Daily News and Philly.com recently recognized Beaumont as being among the area's 100 best places to work. The 'Top Workplaces 2014' is a highly valued award, granted to the best employers in the Philadelphia region - as voted by employees.
In October, ground was broken to expand Beaumont at Bryn Mawr’s fitness facilities, add a casual bistro, bar and billiards room, and renovate the historic 1912 Austin Mansion, centerpiece and social hub of the community.
