Dining Experience: Residents have multiple options for meals and entertainment. The first floor of the Austin Mansion houses seven intimate formal dining rooms as well as a casual Grill Room and porch. The Executive Chef and his staff provide a menu with a wide variety of choices, and they are available to cater private parties in the villas and apartments. Flexible dining hours and food delivery service are available. For residents’ convenience, dinner is served as early as 5 p.m. and as late as 8 p.m. The food is always exceptional.

Purchase procedure: Purchase of a villa or apartment at Beaumont requires a down payment of ten percent of the purchase price at the time that you submit the admission forms and Purchase Agreement. The forms provide medical and financial background to ascertain the appropriateness of Beaumont for your needs. The balance of the purchase price plus closing costs is payable at closing.

Information Center: The marketing office is located on the Beaumont campus. In order to guarantee optimum personal service, an appointment is recommended. Regular office hours are 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday though Friday.

When you become a member of a cooperative, you become part of a non-profit corporation (by purchasing a Certificate of Membership), obtain a “lifetime” lease for your specific living unit (as long as you are a Member) and also have a contract for health care and services.

A definite advantage to keep in mind is that of control. Residents elect a Board of Directors, comprised of fellow members. This would be similar to homeowners associations that you may have belonged to in the past. Another advantage of ownership is that of preserving future options. If your circumstances change and you decide to leave Beaumont, you are not restricted or “locked-in” because of a non-refundable entrance fee. You may sell your villa or apartment (technically, your co-op membership), at anytime if you wish.

Residents enjoy a wealth of services and amenities to support an active lifestyle, including:

  • Resident Services Director and staff
  • concierge, catering and party planning services
  • fitness center with state-of-the-art fitness equipment, exercise classes and full time personal trainer
  • wide screen cinema with theater seating
  • heated indoor pool
  • arts and crafts room
  • library
  • educational programs by guest lecturers
  • card room
  • voice and instrumental concerts
  • bridge
  • wood shop
  • walking trail

  • tennis & golf nearby
  • back-up generator in case of power outages

Beaumont maintains a full schedule of activities, from coffee & cordial evenings and theme parties in the mansion, to day trips to the opera, orchestra and theater or baseball games, to extended trips to a variety of resort destinations.

Transportation is provided for regularly scheduled market trips, some offsite activities, such as the opera, as well as medical transportation.

Beaumont is located close to superb shopping areas in Bryn Mawr, Ardmore and King of Prussia, with access to stores such as Macy's, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus and Lord & Taylor. Our location also offers easy access to Center City Philadelphia, with many churches, synagogues, colleges and universities nearby.
